I wanted to introduce myself so you can learn a little bit more about me and my digital marketing journey.
My name is AnaMarie. I am a 19 year old college student that was tired of never having enough money to pay for college and go out and do things.
I was tired of being in debt, having to think about getting student loans that I wouldn’t be able to pay off, and only being able to pay my bills.
At this point, I was seeing so many young women all over social media that were making money by selling digital products, doing UGC, and affiliate marketing.
However, I was afraid that this community was too oversaturated for me to be able to do it and to be honest didn’t know if I believed these people that were claiming they were making money off of it.
But I decided that there was no harm in trying, so I started a couple of months ago. At first, I was just running a mostly affiliate marketing-based blog, where I would write blog posts about products that I liked, recipes, etc.
Eventually I decided to create 2 accounts, one for UGC, affiliate marketing, and just general stuff like brand partnerships, etc and then another one specifically for marketing and finances.
I created Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts.
I started off with zero followers, zero knowledge about marketing and content creation, and only $27 in my bank account.
With that $27 I decided to invest in Digital Boss Academy on a payment plan because that was all I could afford. I had not been super consistent in posting and was just wanting more information on everything.
I now have over 1,000 followers across accounts and platforms, over 15,000 viewers across platforms, and have made about 20 sales.
I am going to be very realistic with you, I did not make thousands of dollars in my first week or even in my first month. However, In my first 3 days I had already made just over 200 dollars, now that may not be thousands of dollars or anything but for me it was a lot of money considering it usually takes me a week or two of paychecks to earn that much.
DBA has taught me so much information like how to do email marketing, how to create my own digital products, and so much more. I would have been completely stuck without it and I am very glad that I took the chance and am now able to share my journey with you guys.
A fun fact about me is that I am currently pursuing a degree in education.
